Had written this blog long time back in Marathi...
Yogesh was very kind to translate this in English for me, so non-marathi people also can read what I'd written... :)
thanks Yogesh...!!!
Here's the first translated blog-
The night gets solemn. The decibels fade away.
In my room, away from the city, the clock points at ten...
I can hear the parched summer earth breathing under me.
Just like her, life's ordeals have snuffed out my senses too.
The mind... too hollowed to rebel or receive.
A starlit sky peeps through the window... I shut my book and stand at the sill.
A deserted road winds ahead. Not a soul vrrrrooms past.
Rows of lamps spill the warm light... like circles of molten wax...
A dog sleeps coiled- like the universe around him. Unwinding after a scorching day.
The stars twinkle aloof... I stretch out to them, barely across the frame.
They don't inch ahead.... I'm too tired to reflect though.
A night... pitch-dark, looms in my mind.
I slip into my bed- a riot of stars gleams through the window.
Amber beams sneak in too… with silhouettes of the trees…
Curtains hang and sway in the breeze.
I'm cocooned... in peace around.
I play my walkman. Hirabai's melody seeps deep and deeper within me.
Music blankets me like grandma's quilt.
The stillness grips........
And stars twinkle... one by one,
on the night within!
